I sit here on my chair, looking out the window, and staring through tulips that somehow are in a vase our my table. I just woke up from a 3 hour plus nap and feel like it is a different day. What day is it? Its’ got ot be friday, because i haven’t done some things that i knew i had to do on friday. yeah, it’s friday.
my dog is afraid of me. he must not like me anymore. earlier this week he ate Brooke’s ipod. I got mad, I yelled and no wmy dog does not like me. How does one have reconciliation with an animal? How does one ask for forgiveness with an animal?
my feet hurt. not sure why.
i need a haircut, or maybe i need my hair to grow quicker, i’m not sure which one i prefer. why does hair grow so slowly?
after a ‘publish’ this i hop on my motorcycle, run a couple errands and then go and listen to the very first Stanley J. Grenz memorial lecture taught by Dr. Darrell Cosden. I can’t believe that a week from this sunday is the one year anniversary of death. Has it really been a year? Has it only been a year? His death spurred, what I will always remember as a year of death. Not many physical deaths, although there were those, but more metaphorically this was a year of death. i hope it’s over, i hope this next year i give birth to that which is brewing in me but am unable to name.
it’s a beautiful day in seattle, almost feels like spring. the plum trees in my front yard are blooming, the tulips brooke planted are coming up, my rose bush is starting to get follage. and the mold on the sidewalks does not look so jungle-ly anymore. it’s a beautiful day in seattle

Joel,
Thanks for me showing me around Friday evening. I enjoyed meeting you and seeing what Mars Hill has to offer. I enjoyed the lecture and plan to check out some books written by Stanley J. Grenz.
Peace from West Michigan
Darrell was my doctrine’s lecture at college. What did you think if his paper?
Shane -
